We are currently seeking a Construction CFO in the Sacramento, CA area to oversee all finance, banking, insurance, accounting, IT and general administration for the firm. FIRM: The firm functions as a midsize, general contractor/construction manager in Sacramento. We are employee-owned with a regional focus building a variety of commercial, hospitality, and multifamily projects. POSITION: This position reports to the president and is available due to the firm's recent company growth and the retirement of an incumbent. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing all finance, banking, insurance, accounting, IT and general administration for the firm. Although we prefer someone who has functioned as CFO, we are willing to consider an up-and-comer (Controller or VP Finance) who is ready to take his or her career to the next level. Local experience or networks are not necessary and we are open to relocating a candidate from anywhere in the USA. REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have worked at a construction company for 10 years or more with annual revenues over $50 million (EPC, CM, GC, Highway, Heavy, or Specialty Trade). Candidates should have experience with budget preparation, strategic planning, internal controls, tax, audit functions, and related software experience. Candidates should also have good skills in communication, time management, personnel management, client/vendor management, leadership. Candidates should have a stable job history.
