We are seeking a Construction CFO for a bridge, civil, and transportation construction firm based in the St. Louis, MO, area. The role will oversee the firm's finance, banking, insurance, accounting, IT, and general administration. It is the top strategic position reporting to the president. Projects include all types of transportation and civil work, including bridges, highways, roads, water, etc. This position is available due to the firm's recent company growth and the retirement of an incumbent. Although we prefer someone who has functioned as a construction CFO, we are willing to consider an up-and-comer (Controller or VP Finance) who is ready to take his or her career to the next level. Local experience or networks are not necessary and we are open to relocating a candidate from anywhere in the USA. MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have worked at a construction company for 10 years or more with annual revenues over $50 million (EPC, CM, GC, Highway, Heavy, or Specialty Trade). Candidates should have experience with budget preparation, strategic planning, internal controls, tax, audit functions, and related software experience. Candidates should also have good communication, time management, personnel management, client/vendor management, and leadership skills. Candidates should have a stable job history.
