We are seeking a remote Board Member that will participate on the board of directors of a civil and building contractor based in Austin, Texas. This remote position and a paid board member seat will only require quarterly meetings (video or in-person). The advisory role will involve participating with other board members to assist the CEO in successfully developing and constructing large civil and building projects throughout Texas. MUST HAVE (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING TWO QUALIFICATIONS): 1) Candidates MUST have been a president, COO, GM, or Division Manager for a general contractor, construction manager, design-build, or EPC firm. 2) Candidates MUST have experience with large projects, civil or building, larger than $50 million. Joe Duties: - Advisory role to assist the CEO with oversight of major projects. - Participate in board meetings and provide input on key decisions and strategic planning. - Collaborate with other board members to set organizational goals and objectives. - Review and analyze financial reports, budgets, and other relevant documents. - Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Monitor the organization's performance and evaluate its impact. - Act as an ambassador for the organization and promote its mission and values.
