We are seeking a seasoned Construction President to oversee an existing commercial asphalt paving contractor in Indiana. The executive will lead the P&L for this midsize, established and growing contractor. Ideally we seek someone with paving construction operations experience and a stable job history. As President, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, leading large-scale teams and projects, and shaping the company’s long-term strategic growth in the commercial asphalt paving sector. Key Responsibilities
Report directly to the President and oversee all aspects of asphalt-related construction operations and workforce leadership. Manage small- and large-scale asphalt projects, including paving, maintenance, and rehabilitation across the region. Drive high-volume performance while ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Lead strategic planning, workforce development, and systems optimization to support scalable growth. Mentor management teams, foster a culture of accountability and innovation, and uphold best-in-class operational standards. Qualifications
10+ years of leadership experience in asphalt paving, with a proven track record managing complex, fast-paced operations focused on profitability, safety, and quality. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with expertise in talent development, conflict resolution, and operational management. Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement. Who Should Apply
